RADIO FREQUENCY PROCEDURES
IMPROVE SKIN LAXITY | SKIN TIGHTENING | FACE & NECK TIGHTENING
Non-surgical treatments to improve skin laxity are deep chemical peels, resurfacing laser treatments, thread lifting, radio frequency procedures, ultrasound treatments and more. All of these can achieve some degree of skin tightening. I can achieve the best results in non surgical face and neck tightening with a combination of non-invasive and invasive radio frequency procedures, often in combination with thread lifting and if indicated liposuction of the neck area. The deep skin layer in the face is called the SMAS (superficial muscular aponeurotic system) layer and in the neck the platysma layer. Some of today’s tightening devices can bypass the upper layers of the skin and deliver the right amount of energy to the right depths to contract and ultimately lift the SMAS and platysma layer of the face. The energy delivery contracts the deeper tissue and causes some fibrosis to maintain the tightening effect. Down time is short, but healing and final results can take up to 3 to 6 months.
